This is a great workout to start developing your foundations for increasing clubhead speed. All you need is a resistance band and some space and you can do this in under 30 minutes! You can do this 1-2x per week. Make sure NOT to do this workout 2 days in a row! You can do a strength workout and/or mobility workout on the days in between.
Equipment Needed: Resistance Band, Driver/Speed Stick/Orange Whip, Mat
Warmup:
1. Cat/Cow 8x
2. Hip Fire Hydrants 8x/ea. side
3. Rockbacks w/Hip Abduction 8x/ea. side
4. 1/2 Kneeling Lunge Stretch 8x/ea. side
5. Shoulder Clocks 8x/ea. direction
6. Arm Circles (palms up) 15-20/ea. direction
Speed Circuit #1:
1A. Drop Squats 3 x 6
1B. Vertical Jump 3 x 6
1C. 2 Step Drill 3 x 6
7. T-Swings 8x/ea tall, 8x/ea. golf posture ea
8. Lateral Lunges (in place) 8x/ea. side
9. Air Squats 2 x 10
